Overview

MitoSciences antibodies can be used in a variety of ways to supplement data on the mitochondrial proteome. For example individual mAbs can be used in Western blots of 1 or 2 D gels to identify proteins of interest on the proteome map.

Alternatively the various capture mAbs can be used to isolate complexes or individual proteins.

MS101 MitoProfile® Complex I Immunocapture Kit
250 µg, 500 µg or 750 µg monoclonal antibody irreversibly crosslinked to protein G-agarose beads which can immunocapture ~60 µg, ~120 µg or ~180 µg respectively of Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) from heart mitochondria.

MS201 MitoProfile® Complex II Immunocapture Kit
250 µg, 500 µg or 750 µg monoclonal antibodies irreversibly crosslinked to protein G-agarose beads which can immunocapture ~13 g, ~26 g or ~39 g respectively of Complex II from heart mitochondria.

MS301 MitoProfile® Complex III Immunocapture Kit
250 µg, 500 µg or 750 µg monoclonal antibodies irreversibly crosslinked to protein G-agarose beads which can immunocapture ~25 µg, ~50 µg or ~75 µg respectively of Complex III from heart mitochondria.

Individual Antibodies


MS103 Complex I subunit GRIM-19 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 19 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) subunit GRIM-19. MS103 also labels GRIM-19 in immunocytochemical applications. Interestingly GRIM-19 is also present in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Its expression is necessary for interferonβ/retinoic acid induced tumor mortality.

MS104 Complex I subunit NDUFS4 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 18 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) subunit NDUFS4.

MS105 Complex I subunit 20 kDa (likely ND6) monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against a Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) 20 kDa subunit. Preliminary data (2D blotting and Rho0 blotting) indicate this antibody is reactive against the mtDNA encoded ND6 subunit.

MS107 Complex I subunit 15 kDa (likely NDUFA6) monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against a 15 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) subunit. Preliminary data (2D blotting) indicate this subunit is the NDUFA6 subunit. MS107 also labels in immunocytochemical applications.

MS108 Complex I subunit NDUFB6 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 17 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) subunit NDUFB6.

MS109 Complex I subunit 8 kDa monoclonal antibody kDa
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against an 8 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) subunit.

MS110 Complex I subunit NDUFS3 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 30 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) subunit NDUFS3. MS110 also labels NDUFS3 in immunocytochemical applications.

MS111 Complex I subunit NDUFA9 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 39 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) subunit NDUFA9.

MS112 Complex I subunit NDUFS3 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 30 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) subunit NDUFS3 in humans and C. elegans. Human heart mitochondria are also included as a Western blotting control.

MS203 Complex II subunit 30 kDa Ip monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the Complex II 30 kDa Ip subunit in Western blotting and immunocytochemical applications.

MS204 Complex II subunit 70 kDa Fp monoclonal antibody

MS303 Complex III subunit Core 1 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 49 kDa complex III Core protein 1.

MS304 Complex III subunit Core 2 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 47 kDa Complex III Core protein 2. MS304 also labels core 2 in immunocytochemical applications.

MS305 Complex III subunit Rieske monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 22 kDa complex III Rieske subunit.

MS306 Complex III subunit 10 kDa monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the complex III 10 kDa subunit.

MS403 Complex IV subunit SURF1 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 33 kDa Complex IV assembly factor SURF1. Cellular levels of SURF1 are highest in growing cultured cells.

MS404 Complex IV subunit I monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 57 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit I. The apparent molecular weight is 35 kDa. MS404 also labels COX I in immunocytochemical applications.

MS405 Complex IV subunit II monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 26 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit II. MS405 also labels COX II in immunocytochemical applications.

MS406 Complex IV subunit III monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 30 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit III. The apparant molecular weight is 22 kDa.

MS407 Complex IV subunit IV monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 18 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit IV. Reacts with human, bovine, mouse and rat. MS408 is an alternative antibody against COX IV.

MS408 Complex IV subunit IV monoclonal antibody (alternate to MS407)
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 18 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit IV. MS408 also labels COX IV in immunocytochemical applications. Reacts only with human and bovine, but better than MS407 for immunocytochemistry in these species.

MS409 Complex IV subunit Va monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 12 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit Va. MS409 also labels COX Va in immunocytochemical applications.

MS410 Complex IV subunit Vb monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 13 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit Vb.

MS411 Complex IV subunit VIaH monoclonal antibody
250 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 12 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit VIa and specific to the 'heart' isoform.

MS503 ATP synthase (Complex V) subunit β monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against 52 kDa the F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) β subunit. MS503 also labels β in immunocytochemical applications.

MS504 ATP synthase (Complex V) subunit d monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 19 kDa F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) d subunit. MS504 also labels the d subunit in immunocytochemical applications.

MS505 ATP synthase (Complex V) subunit OSCP monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 21 kDa F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) OSCP subunit. MS505 also labels the OSCP subunit in immunocytochemical applications.

MS506 ATP synthase (Complex V) subunit IF1 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the Complex V IF1 subunit. The antibody shows in Western blotting of whole mitochondria reactivity with two bands at 10 kDa and at 18 kDa, but in isolated F1F0 only the band at 10 kDa is observed (IF1). The 18 kDa band is the subunit IV of Complex IV.

MS507 ATP synthase (Complex V) subunit α monoclonal antibody with broad cross-reactivity
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 55 kDa F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) α subunit. This mAb has broad species cross-reactivity including animal and plant subunits. MS507 also labels the α subunit in immunocytochemical applications.

MS508 ATP synthase (Complex V) subunit F6 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 9 kDa F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) F6 subunit. MS508 also labels the F6 subunit in immunocytochemical applications.

MSA02 ANT monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 32 kDa adenine nucleotide translocase (ANT). MSA02 also labels ANT in immunocytochemical applications.

MSA03 Porin monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 39 kDa human porin (VDAC) for Western blotting applications.

MSA04 Cyclophilin D monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 21 kDa human Cyclophilin 'D' (P30405). MSA04 also labels Cyclophilin D in immunocytochemical applications.

MSA06 Cytochrome c monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody against the 12 kDa Cytochrome c, suitable for use in Western Blotting and Immunocytochemistry.

MSA08 Porin monoclonal antibody for yeast
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against Porin in Saccharomyces cerevisiae for use in Western blotting applications.

MSF01 Frataxin monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody against frataxin, suitable for use in Western Blotting and Immunocytochemistry.

MSP01c PDH Immunocapture monoclonal antibody
100 g monoclonal antibody which can immunocapture PDH from heart mitochondria.

MSP03 PDH subunit E1α monoclonal antibody
100 g of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 44 kDa PDH E1α subunit. MSP03 also labels E1α in immunocytochemical applications

MSP04 PDH subunit E1β monoclonal antibody
100 g of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 39 kDa PDH subunit E1β.

MSP05 PDH subunit E2 monoclonal antibody
100 g of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 66 kDa PDH E2 subunit. MSP05 also labels E2 in immunocytochemical applications.

MSP06 PDH subunit E2/E3bp monoclonal antibody
100 g of monoclonal antibody reactive against both the 66 kDa PDH E2 subunit and the 54 kDa E3 binding protein. Preliminary data suggest that this antibody recognizes bound lipoic acid. MSP06 also labels E2 & E3bp in immunocytochemical applications.

MSP07 PDH subunit E1α monoclonal antibody
100 g of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 44 kDa PDH E1α subunit. MSP07 also labels E1α in immunocytochemical applications.

MS101 MitoProfile® Complex I Immunocapture Kit

This kit allows for isolation of Complex I from small amounts of tissue. This facilitates subsequent analysis of post-translational modifications (including oxidative damage) by proteomic approaches or antibody detection of these modifications.

Uses for this kit include but are not limited to examining alterations of Complex I subunits in inherited mitochondrial diseases, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, ALS, schizophrenia, and aging.
