Process Overview: The MitoSciences Service
Step 1. In any project with MitoSciences the first step is an interactive consulting process in
which our scientists with many years of experience in mitochondrial biology will interact
with your drug development/toxicology scientists to design a screening program suitable for
your specific needs. During this process, where necessary, we can draw on the experience of
our stellar Scientific Advisory Board.
Step 2. We will fabricate HTS mAb capture-based assays to measure levels, activities,
and/or post-translational modifications of all of the components of the Oxidative
Phosphorylation (OXPHOS) Chain, the site of unwanted action of almost all drugs altering
mitochondrial function.
Step 3A. We will provide an in-house analysis using the agreed-upon screening protocols and
provide results and interpretation in a secure website for your evaluation.

Step 3B. We will train your scientists and help set up the screening program in your
laboratories using our novel MitoProfile® technology after custom-modification to meet
your projects.
