Brief Description & Uses
50 µg of human liver mitochondria solubilized in SDS-PAGE loading buffer and supplemented with reducing agent. This sample is ready for SDS-electrophoresis and acts as a positive control in Western blotting applications.
Human Tissue Handling Risks and Precautions: These samples were prepared post-mortem from a donor whose serology report was negative for Hepatitis C antibody, HIV-1 & 2, Hepatitis B Surface antigen. However, as with all human derived material, standard lab practices to prevent direct contact should be used.
