Brief Description & Uses
Contains 5 mAbs against representative proteins for each of the primary structures of the mitochondrion:
• Outer Membrane - Porin (MSA03)
• Intermembrane Space - Cytochrome c (MSA06)
• Inner Membrane - Complex Vα (MS502) and Complex III Core 1 (MS303)
• Matrix Space - Cyclophilin D (MSA04)
This kit is useful in Western blotting to evaluate the structural
integrity of isolated mitochondria. This kit is reactive against 39kDa
human porin, 12kDa cytochrome c, 55kDa Complex Vα, 49kDa Complex III
Core 1, and 21kDa Cyclophilin D.
Human heart mitochondria are provided as standard control -
mitochondria from other species and tissues are available upon request.

mitochondrial compartment. Can be used to assess mitochondrial membrane
integrity during and after purification.
