Brief Description & Uses
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the Complex I (NADH
dehydrogenase) subunit NDUFS4. Isolated mitochondria are available from

NDUFS4 is an 18 kDa subunit of Complex I which, it has been claimed, is
phosphorylated in a cAMP dependent pathway that controls the activity
of the complex. Mutations in this subunit, most often leading to loss
of synthesis of the polypeptide, have been related to Complex I
dysfunction in a number of patients with early onset mitochondrial
diseases. Useful in studies of Complex I assembly and Complex I
deficiency in patients.
