Overview

A number of MitoSciences mAbs work well in immunohistochemistry using frozen sections and/or paraffin thin sections. These include at least one mAb against each of the five OXPHOS complexes. All of the mAbs offered together in Kit MS602 work well on frozen sections.

 

Research Kits


MS602 MitoProfile® OXPHOS/PDH Immunocytochemistry Kit
A cocktail of 220 µg antibodies comprised of six mAbs packaged individually. Each antibody is against a labile subunit of each of the 5 OXPHOS complexes and PDH. Each mAb is provided in a 50 µl aliquot at a 200x concentration, to allow reconstitution of each mAb in 10 ml working volume.

MS602a MitoProfile® OXPHOS/PDH Immunocytochemistry Kit
Includes the same components as MS602 (above), but additionally contains 60 µg mAb to porin, and 120 µg to Complex V α subunit, and the required secondary antibodies for simultaneous 2 dye staining of samples.

MS103 Complex I subunit GRIM-19 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 19 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) subunit GRIM-19 for immunocytochemistry. Interestingly GRIM-19 is also present in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Its expression is necessary for interferonβ/retinoic acid induced tumor mortality.

MS107 Complex I subunit NDUFB4 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 15 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) subunit NDUFB4. MS107 also labels in immunocytochemical applications. Formerly listed as likely subunit NDUFA6.

MS110 Complex I subunit NDUFS3 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 30 kDa Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) NDUFS3 subunit.

MS203 Complex II subunit 30 kDa Ip monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the Complex II 30 kDa Ip subunit in immunocytochemical applications.

MS204 Complex II subunit 70 kDa Fp monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the Complex II 70 kDa Fp subunit in immunocytochemical applications.

MS304 Complex III subunit Core 2 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 47 kDa complex III Core 2 protein for immunocytochemistry.

MS404 Complex IV subunit I monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 57 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit I for immunocytochemistry.

MS405 Complex IV subunit II monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 26 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit II for immunocytochemistry.

MS408 (alternate to 407) Complex IV subunit IV monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 18 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit IV. MS408 also labels COX IV in immunocytochemical applications. MS407 also binds COX IV. Reacts only with human and bovine, but better than MS407 for immunocytochemistry in these species.

100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 12 kDa COX (Complex IV) subunit Va for immunocytochemistry.

MS502 Complex V subunit α monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 55 kDa F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) subunit α for immunocytochemistry.

MS503 Complex V subunit β monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 52 kDa F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) subunit β for immunocytochemistry.

MS504 Complex V subunit d monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 19 kDa F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) subunit d for immunocytochemistry.

MS505 Complex V subunit OSCP monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 21 kDa F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) OSCP subunit for immunocytochemistry.

MS507 Complex V subunit α monoclonal antibody; with broad cross-reactivity
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 55 kDa F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) α subunit. Reacts with animal and plant subunits.

MS508 Complex V subunit F6 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 9 kDa F1F0 ATP synthase (Complex V) F6 subunit.

MSA02 ANT monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 32 kDa adenine nucleotide translocase (ANT) for immunocytochemistry.

MSA04 Cyclophilin D monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 21 kDa human cyclophilin'D' subunit (P30405) for immunocytochemistry.

MSA05 Porin monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 39 kDa human porin (VDAC1) for immunocytochemistry.

MSA06 Cytochrome c monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 12 kDa cytochrome c for immunocytochemistry.

MSP03 PDH subunit α monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 44 kDa PDH subunit E1α for immunocytochemistry.

MSP05 PDH subunit E2 monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 66 kDa PDH E2 subunit for immunocytochemistry.

MSP06 PDH subunit E2/E3bp monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against both the 66 kDa PDH E2 subunit and the 54 kDa E3 binding protein in immunocytochemical studies. Preliminary data suggest that this antibody recognizes the bound lipoic acid on both proteins.

MSP07 PDH subunit α monoclonal antibody
100 µg of monoclonal antibody reactive against the 44 kDa PDH subunit E1α for immunocytochemistry.

MS602 OXPHOS/PDH Immunocytochemistry Kit

The OXPHOS Kit allows rapid screening of cells or tissues for defective assembly of the OXPHOS and PDH complexes.

It requires very few cells and only needle biopsy amounts of tissue.
