The 96-well activity microplate kit is used to determine the activity of Cytochrome c oxidase in a human sample. The COX enzyme is immunocaptured within the wells of the microplate and activity is determined colorimetrically by following the oxidation of reduced Cytochrome c by the absorbance change at 550 nm. The activity microplate can be performed in conjunction with the quantity microplate to establish specific activity. This multiplexing microplate (MS400MULTI) is available as a separate kit. Also included are reagents and buffers to perform the activity assay.

Purity:

Near homogeneity as judged by SDS-PAGE. The antibodies were produced in vitro using hybridomas grown in serum-free medium, and then purified by biochemical fractionation.
